Public relations specialist, media entrepreneur and District Governor-nominee Ehi Braimah will lead a virtual capacity-building session for members of the Rotaract Nigeria Multi-District Information Organisation on Friday, September 25, 2026.

The programme, scheduled for 8pm Nigerian time via Google Meet, is part of a two-day capacity-building initiative focused on branding, storytelling and public image.

Braimah, a member of the Rotary Club of Lagos and Rotary International District 9112, will deliver a session titled “Tell the Story: Turning Rotaract Impact into Influence.”

The training is designed to help young Rotaractors communicate their community projects more effectively, build stronger public identities and turn their service activities into stories that inspire, inform and create lasting impact.

With the theme centred on “Build, Communicate, Create Impact”, the programme places storytelling at the heart of effective youth leadership and community engagement.

Braimah brings extensive experience in public relations, marketing, journalism, media and strategic communications to the session.

He is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Neo Media & Marketing, a public relations, marketing and events management agency.

He is also the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Naija Times and Lagos Post, online newspapers he founded in 2020 and 2021 respectively.

His media experience includes regular appearances as a television pundit, alongside work as a writer, author, motivational speaker, mentor and public policy analyst.

Braimah completed his MBA at the University of Roehampton, London, in 2017. In October 2024, he received the university’s Distinguished Chancellor’s Alumni Award in the Inspiration and Innovation Category.

He was also named a finalist in the British Council’s 2025 Study UK Alumni Awards, which were held in Abuja in February 2025.

His interest in documentation and storytelling has also extended to authorship. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Braimah documented his experiences and observations in his 255-page book, My Lockdown Diary, published in 2020.

In 2023, he led the Board of Editors of Naija Times in documenting the newspaper‘s editorials in For a Better Nigeria, a book spanning more than 460 pages.

Braimah has also completed the manuscript for an upcoming 15-chapter book, How Naija Can Conquer the World, which explores Nigeria’s economic potential, global ambitions and possible strategies for achieving greater prosperity.

Beyond media and communications, Braimah has maintained a strong interest in professional development, entrepreneurship and community service.

He is a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, the Guild of Online Corporate Publishers and an associate member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.

He serves as Chairman of the Naija Times Journalism Foundation, the non-profit arm of Naija Times, and is Deputy President of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce.

Braimah is also a mentor with the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme and has been a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and Nigerian Institute of Management since 1993.

His involvement with Rotary has continued to grow, with his service including membership of the Rotary Club of Lagos, his role as District Governor-nominee for Rotary International District 9112 and recognition as a Major Donor of The Rotary Foundation.

The Rotaract programme is expected to give participants practical insight into how effective communication can increase the visibility and influence of service projects.

For youth organisations such as Rotaract, the ability to document and communicate community impact is increasingly important.

A successful project may benefit a community directly, but compelling storytelling can help attract volunteers, partners, donors and wider public support.

The September 25 session will therefore focus not only on telling stories, but on understanding how branding and strategic communication can turn service into influence.

The programme is being held under the leadership of Rotaract Nigeria Multi-District Information Organisation President PDR Wilfred ThankGod Inedu, PHF, for the 2026 to 2027 Rotary year.

The organisers are positioning the training as an opportunity for Rotaractors to strengthen their communication skills and learn how to present their work in ways that inspire, inform and elevate their communities.

With Braimah as the featured speaker, the session is expected to draw on his experience across media, public relations, business, leadership and Rotary service.

The broader objective is clear: to equip young leaders not only to create meaningful change, but also to communicate that change effectively and ensure that their impact reaches beyond the immediate communities they serve.
