Popular Nigerian actress Etinosa Idemudia has disclosed her intentions to undergo surgery for the removal of her womb, citing a unique perspective on life and death as her primary motivation.
The actress, also a mother of one, initiated a thought-provoking conversation on the delicate balance between life and death on the micro-blogging platform X a few months ago.
“The primary cause of Death is life itself. So to stop Death one must put an end to reproduction. What is never born will never die. Even I myself am not ready for this deep conversation. It’s deeper than I can comprehend,” Etinosa said.
Echoing her sentiments, a fan expressed agreement, emphasizing that some individuals choose not to have children for this very reason.
Responding to a follower’s comment on her earlier tweet, Etinosa further clarified her perspective, revealing her plans to undergo surgery to remove her womb.
According to Etinosa, her decision stems from a desire to spare her potential future children from the inevitability of facing death in this world.
In her words;
“God bless you. Reason I’m doing surgery soon to take off my womb. No child of mine is coming to this world to wait for death.”
