As the race for the new occupant of Aso Rock begins in earnest, it is all daggers out against the leading presidential candidate of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a foreigner, who is a popular retired mental health counselour and author, Dr. Jeffrey Guterman, has joined many to take a swipe at him.

Despite the candidate’s bad pressover his choice of running mate being a Muslim, an investigative Nigerian journalist, David Hundeyin, added to the attacks by releasing a stinker in the early hours of today over the alleged past illegal dealings of the presidential candidate, titled Bola Ahmed Tinubu: From Drug Lord To Presidential Candidate.

Riding on this, Dr. Guterman, through his verified Twitter handle @JeffreyGuterman, retweeted the article in a continued campaign to shore up the chances of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The tweet, which has been trending on the micro blogging site, was captioned: Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former drug lord, is running for president of Nigeria.

Dr. Guterman worked in various clinical settings since 1985. He holds a B.A. in psychology from Boston University, and an M.S. in counseling psychology, an M.S.

On July 4, 2022, he hosted a Twitter space titled ‘organize for Peter Obi and Nigeria’ which garnered over a thousand people. The space was co-hosted by Twitter user @BishopPOEvang who said any spy from an opposing political party spotted in the space should be reported and blocked.
