Girls Tag brand ambassador Mercy Johnson Okojie unveiled as the face of Nigeria’s first all-in-one period care pack for young girls

iBlend Services, the appointed Regional Agency for Girls Tag, alongside its PR and marketing partner Eddie MPR, has unveiled Nollywood actress and philanthropist Mercy Johnson Okojie and her daughter, Purity Okojie, as official ambassadors for Girls Tag, Nigeria’s first all-in-one period care pack for girls aged nine and above.

The launch marks a decisive step in addressing persistent gaps in menstrual health education and access to sanitary products across the country.

According to the promoters, Girls Tag was developed to eliminate fear, confusion and stigma surrounding early puberty, replacing them with confidence, comfort and dignity.

The Girls Tag brand ambassador partnership with Mercy Johnson Okojie is designed to strengthen the initiative’s reach among families.

The inclusion of Purity Okojie underscores the authenticity of the collaboration, presenting a relatable mother-daughter dynamic for Nigerian households navigating similar experiences.

Leadership at iBlend Services expressed confidence that the ambassadors’ real-life connection would resonate powerfully with mothers and daughters nationwide, particularly during what can often be an anxious stage of development.

Mercy Johnson Okojie described the initiative as a natural fit, noting that puberty can be an overwhelming period for both parents and children.

The actress also revealed that her newly authored puberty guide, Youberty, will be included in every Girls Tag kit.

The book is tailored to boys and girls aged 10 to 13 and seeks to provide clarity on the physical and emotional changes associated with adolescence.

Each Girls Tag pack contains premium sanitary pads in multiple sizes, overnight period pants, panty liners, disposable sanitary bags, a discreet sanitary purse and a copy of Youberty.

The product is structured to support first-time and early period experiences while promoting proper hygiene and self-care.
