Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, David Olusegun Adejare Hamzat, has commissioned the 110-unit Goldrim Plaza in Ojodu-Berger, describing the project as a major investment in local commerce and economic development.

The newly completed commercial complex is expected to provide modern retail and business spaces for entrepreneurs, traders and small businesses, while creating employment opportunities and stimulating commercial activities within the rapidly growing Ojodu-Berger corridor.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hamzat said the plaza reflects the council’s commitment to building an economy that supports enterprise, attracts investment and improves the livelihoods of residents.

According to him, infrastructure that promotes business growth remains essential to sustainable development, particularly in communities with expanding populations and increasing commercial demand.

The chairman noted that Goldrim Plaza would serve as more than a shopping and business centre, adding that it is intended to become a catalyst for local economic growth by providing organised commercial spaces for businesses operating in the area.

He said the project aligns with the administration’s broader vision of transforming Ojodu-Berger into one of Lagos State’s leading commercial destinations through strategic public and private sector investments.
