Governor Soludo leads Uga Boys’ 50th anniversary celebration

Governor Soludo shines at Uga Boys’ 50th anniversary, stressing education, leadership, and development in Anambra State

Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, stole the spotlight at the 50th anniversary celebration of Uga Boys Secondary School, his alma mater, showcasing leadership, elegance, and a deep commitment to education.

The milestone event, held in Uga, brought together students, teachers, alumni, and community members to celebrate five decades of academic excellence.

Governor Soludo arrived in style, wearing a light navy-blue jacket, white trousers, and a striped tie reminiscent of his school days, blending nostalgia with timeless elegance.

According to the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Soludo emphasised the pivotal role of education in building a prosperous state.

“Education is the cornerstone upon which we will build a stronger, more prosperous state,” he said, reflecting his conviction in the transformative power of quality instruction.

Governor Soludo shared fond memories of his time at Uga Boys, highlighting the dedication of his teachers.

He also outlined plans to further strengthen education in Anambra State, including recruiting additional teachers and improving access to quality instruction.

Observers noted that the Governor’s sartorial choice and presence underscored his multifaceted personality as a dynamic leader, public servant, and advocate for education.

His commitment to revitalising public schools and supporting institutions such as Uga Boys reflects his forward-thinking governance style.
