The announcement was made on Tuesday during an upfront presentation in New York, outlining the full roadmap for the upcoming awards season.

According to the Academy, nominations for the 2027 Grammys will be revealed on November 16, 2026, with eligibility covering albums released between August 31, 2025, and August 28, 2026.

The main ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 7, 2027, marking another major moment in global music recognition.

The event will be held live at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will be broadcast on ABC, with streaming available on Disney+ and Hulu.

The Grammys ceremony dates announcement also highlighted a significant broadcasting shift, ending a 54-year partnership with CBS, a move seen as a notable transition in the awards’ media strategy.

The Recording Academy confirmed the update through its official Instagram page, expressing excitement for the upcoming season with a message that signalled the beginning of the awards journey.

The post read: “IT’S TIIIIIME! The road to the 2027 Grammys officially begins now. Mark your calendars for submissions, nominations, voting, and all the key moments leading up to Music’s Biggest Night. Grammy Season.”
