The Nigerian Police Force has apprehended a guy who creates a false identity on Facebook to entice women and then kidnap them for ransom.
The Police Force recently presented the alleged internet kidnapper, who went by the name Sadiq Abubakar, and described how he does the crime.
According to the Kogi-born man, he deceives women on the famous social networking platform by using the identity “Samuel Johnson.”
“Sometimes they (the ladies) make online requests, and sometimes I send friend requests, and we become friends,” he says. “I invite them, and then I kidnap them and demand a ransom”.
The suspect went on to say that women are easy to fool and that they should be wary of who they trust.
“My advise to young ladies out there is to be cautious and trust no one. It is extremely easy to mislead women. They must be cautious and sensitive,” he stressed.
