Armed robbers attacked a man in Niger State, making off with N10 million that he had withdrawn from a bank.
According to reports, the event occurred at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 19 along Bosso Road in Minna.
The gang followed the victim to the bank where he had gone to withdraw money, according to one Comr Lanre Sadiq.
However, as soon as he exited the bank, the criminals assaulted him and stole the money. One of the robbers was battered to death by an enraged mob after he fell off the escape truck.
Later, police arrived on the site and removed the suspect’s body.
