After a marathon meeting held by the former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Senator representing Ogun East, Senator Lekan Mustapha with the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, the Senator has stepped down for Daniel .
It was gathered that the monarch prevailed on Mustapha to allow his brother from Remo axis take the shot.
The withdrawal was announced at the venue of the primary by the former Commissioner of Health ,Dr. Babatunde Ipaye.
It was earlier gathered that Daniel and Sen Mustapha were in closed door meeting with Awujale and paramount ruler of Ijebuland.

After few hours, the withdrawal of Mustapha was announced.
