The 3-day programme organised by the fast growing Celestial Church of Christ King of Kings Cathedral to celebrate the celestial mother of our Lord, Jesus Christ, reached a crescendo today Sunday, July 3, 2022 in the church premises.

The first Holy Mary Day celebration in the young cathedral started on Thursday, June 30, with a night vigil where the congregation were lectured on the importance and virtues of the Holy Mother of Christ.

This was followed by a special service in remembrance of Holy Mary on Friday, July 1.

The 3-day long celebration came to a glorious end on Sunday with a thanksgiving service and a special ministration from a Canada based shepherd and the Head of CCC Western region, Venerable Superior Evangelist Kunle Lawal.

Known for its service to humanity beyond feeding its members with the word of God, CCC KOK Cathedral also took this further by officially launching Welfare Committee with the sole mandate of catering for any need of her members and non-members beyond spirituality. The members of the committee were brought before the congregation and blessed.

A member of the committee, who also doubles as the church treasurer, Sup. Evang. Tunde Ogungbo, encouraged members of the church who are genuinely in need to freely approach any member of the committee for assistance.

The Welfare department account number 540119984 with Providus Bank was also announced for members who might be interested in contributing to the success of the committee.
