“I lied,” Mr. Ibu’s wife tender apology to AGN

Stella Maris, the wife of Mr. Ibu, apologized to the AGN in a widely shared video that sparked controversy in response to accusations made online.

During an interview with Uche Maduagwu, Stella first apologized to the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for turning down their help due to her husband’s illness.

Stella revealed that she had been duped into thinking her husband—who was a part of the group—was not getting help.

The actor’s wife, who has been embroiled in a legal battle with his “daughter,” Jasmine, has revealed that the guild’s public relations representative, actress Kate Henshaw, visited her husband in the intensive care unit to bolster her most recent allegation.

She added that Mr. Ibu was still rather talkative at the time, he and Henshaw talked and joked around.

Stella, however, did not share how she was manipulated and by whom.
