A Nigerian woman has raised alarm and alleged that the activities of kidnappers in Lagos are becoming troubling as she was almost kidnapped in the city recently.

According to lady, who narrated her ordeal in Yoruba language in a voicenote analysed by Freelanews, the incident happened when she wanted relief herself at Oando Filling Station in Marina.

“When I got to Lagos Island to ease myself. If you’re conversant with Marina very well, you should know one expansive Oando Filling Station housing Chicken Republic restaurant directly opposite GTBank.

“Being a weekend, I didn’t know this place closes earlier than expected. So when I got there, I was informed they had closed for the day and I was directed to the back of the fast food restaurant within the same premises to ease myself when I requested for an alternative.

“I was told that there was a toilet there I could use. So on getting to the described location, a woman I suspected to be the cleaner opened the door for me and to my greatest surprise, this woman locked the door from outside before I was done peeing,” the lady disclosed in the voice note.

Nigerians reacted.

“This voicenote is all about a woman who was locked inside Oando filling station’s toilet. Please, listen to her and learn from it. God will continue to protect us. Amen,” one wrote.

Another concerned Lagosians described the incident as frightening and implored the Lagos State government and security outfits in state to conduct properly investigation to confirm the accuracy or otherwise of the report.

“I think Sanwo-Olu and his people should try ensure that such evil activity is nipped in the bud if truly it is happening there and arrest the culprits,” he wrote.
