Lagos is set to host the thrilling Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Arm Wrestling Championship at the National Stadium, Surulere, bringing together Nigeria’s strongest contenders in a bold celebration of strength, ambition, and unity

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he city of Lagos is bracing for a seismic sporting event as the IBIJOkE SANWO-OLU ARM WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP storms the Basketball Arena, National Stadium, Surulere on Tuesday, 29th April 2025, promising an adrenaline-charged contest of brute strength, resilience, and sportsmanship.

An initiative of Showrage Arm Wrestling and proudly endorsed by the Nigerian Arm Wrestling Federation, this championship is one of the boldest moves yet in redefining Nigeria’s youth sporting culture.

With hosting duties handled by the celebrated comedian and compere Gbenga Adeyinka, the event will bring together the nation’s fiercest competitors — men and women ready to test their might and claim championship glory.
