Nigeria international striker Terem Moffi has expressed strong confidence ahead of the Super Eagles’ international friendly against Portugal, scheduled for Wednesday at the Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa in Leiria.

Super Eagles forward, who has been in encouraging form with two goals in his last two appearances for the national team, said he is determined to play a leading role as Nigeria prepare for what is expected to be a demanding encounter.
Terem Moffi Super Eagles Portugal friendly build-up has drawn attention due to the striker’s familiarity with Portuguese football, having previously spent time on loan with FC Porto during the 2025/26 season.
Moffi noted that his experience in Portugal has given him valuable insight into the playing style of the national team’s players, adding that he intends to use that knowledge to help Nigeria compete strongly in the fixture.
