The Chairman of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Engineer Abdul Fatai Oyesanya is dead.
The Gazelle News.com reports that the late Oyesanya died on Tuesday, 21 January, 2020 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja Lagos after a brief illness.
The Gazelle News.com’s investigation revealed that the late council boss has been battling with undisclosed illness since the Christmas period which eventually led to his death on Tuesday.
A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the late Oyesanya was first elected Chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA in 2011 and was reelected in 2017.
As at the time of writing this report, The Gazelle News.com can report that his burial rites were ongoing at his country home in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
He was in his late 60s.
