Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, delivered an exhilarating performance of her hit songs at her grandmotherās 90th birthday party.
The āJollof on the Jetā crooner took to her Instagram page on Monday to share a video of her performance at the event.
Cuppy also said it was an āhonuorā to perform at her grandmotherās birthday.
Christine Otedola is the mother of Femi Otedola, the billionaire businessman.
The 29-year-old said that prior to the performance, she felt reluctant and anxious but was happy to be part of the celebration.
āIMAGINE the honor to perform to your grandma at her 90th birthday at your hometown? I can. ONLY for this unforgettable moment and special blessing,ā she wrote.
āTo be honest, I was a bit reluctant to perform when it was requested because for most of the year, Iāve been focused on university and been hiding in Oxford.
āPlus, I havenāt been to Nigeria in years, I had so much anxiety. But Iām so happy I was able to make it to Epe in time.
āLast time I performed here was at my Grandadās funeral 7 years ago but today reminded me that we MUST celebrate our grandparents as life can be so short.ā
