Rt. Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade, the Federal Character Commissioner representing Ogun State at FCC, today Monday, August 9 at Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Training College, Abeokuta to monitor the verification/recruitment process of intake from South West States (Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Lagos, Ekiti and Ogun State).
Akinlade, who was accompanied by Ogun State FCC Coordinator, Mr Adeniran A.A., was received by ACG Obafaye Shem (South West Zone Commandant), College Provost, Commandant Rachael Awosusi, Commandant Ilelaboye (Headquarter), NSCDC board representative Alhaji Garuba amongst others.
Akinlade commended the officials for being professional in the exercise. He enjoined the candidates to relax and be composed as the exercise will be free and fair.
Federal Character Commission is empowered by the constitution to promote and enforce equity, justice and fairness in the distribution of personnel in federal and state appointments.
