iPhone 17 series debuts with Apple’s thinnest design, upgraded 24MP cameras, 8K video, and longer battery life. Shipping starts this month

iPhone 17 series has officially arrived, marking another bold chapter in Apple’s innovation journey—from the original iPhone to today’s ultra-sleek, power-packed devices.

The newly unveiled iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max are set to begin global shipping later this month, with starting prices around $799 (₦1.3 million) depending on the model and storage.

Here are the 10 key features that define the new iPhone 17 series:

  1. Thinnest iPhone Ever

The all-new iPhone 17 Air steals the spotlight as Apple’s slimmest iPhone, measuring just  5.5mm in thickness. It’s lighter, sleeker, and fits even more comfortably in hand.

  1. Made in India

For the first time ever, the entire iPhone 17 lineup is manufactured in India, thanks to Apple’s deepening collaboration with Foxconn and Tata.

  1. Smoother Displays

All models come with 120Hz OLED screens, offering buttery-smooth scrolling, vivid visuals, and an enhanced gaming experience.

  1. Sharper Selfies

The front camera jumps to 24MP, bringing higher clarity to selfies, FaceTime, and vlogs.

  1. Redesigned Cameras

The Pro models now feature a horizontal camera bar and boast 8K video recording with up to 8x optical zoom, a game-changer for mobile videography.

  1. Bigger Battery in Pro Max

The iPhone 17 Pro Max houses a powerful 5,000mAh battery, the largest in iPhone history, aimed at users who need all-day endurance.

  1. New Materials

Apple ditches titanium in favor of lightweight aluminium frames for the Pro models, balancing durability with better thermal performance.

  1. More Power with A19 Chips

The standard iPhone 17 and Air get the A19 chip, while the Pro versions are powered by the A19 Pro chip—promising faster performance and improved efficiency.

  1. No More ‘Plus’

Apple has retired the Plus variant this year. In its place, the iPhone 17 Air offers a new middle ground between the base and Pro models.

  1. Fresh Colour Options

The lineup introduces new, eye-catching colours like purple and green, adding more personality to your next iPhone.

With these upgrades, the iPhone 17 series not only looks stunning but also delivers powerful performance and modern features designed for today’s demanding users.
