Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, Nini, has revealed why the fellow housemates call her ‘Totori’ in the house.
She made this known in a Diary Session with Big Brother on Thursday, day 41 of the show, when Biggy asked her about her pet names.
Nini said, “In the house, obviously, they call me Totori and that’s the one that has stuck.”
When Biggy asked her why she was called so, she said that Pere gave her the name because of her personality and how she acts in the house.
She said, “I think Pere would have a better answer for why he gave me Totori. I’ve asked him why and he said it’s because I’m always tickling everybody.
“He said when I’m talking, I’m always smiling and my body is always ‘sweeting’ me. So it stuck and everybody just calls me that.”
Speaking on general pet names outside the house, Nini said, “Nini is my pet name. My name is Anita but everybody in my house calls me Nini since I was a child. Basically, if you’ve never seen my certificate and you roll with people in my house, you’d call me Nini.”
