Iteledicon’s Koleoso hits historic 100m YouTube views

Iteledicon’s Koleoso reaches 100 million views on YouTube, becoming the first Nollywood and African film to hit the mark

Yekini Ibrahim said the feat marks the first time a Nollywood title and an African movie have reached the milestone as a single title on the platform.

The filmmaker disclosed the achievement in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Thursday.

Yekini Ibrahim credited his team, family and fans for their support, describing the moment as proof of hard work, consistency and creativity.

He said the record represents a defining moment for Nollywood and African cinema.

The producer described Koleoso as one story and one movement, adding that the numbers confirm its impact.

Yekini Ibrahim said the milestone reflects the strength of his fan base and the collective effort of the cast and crew.

He described the achievement as a win for Nollywood, Africa, Nigerian culture and the Yoruba creative space.

Koleoso has enjoyed strong digital traction since its release, with sustained viewership driving its rise on YouTube.

The Koleoso 100 million views milestone places the film among the most-watched African titles on the platform.
