Veteran actor Jide Kosoko, Fuji musicians Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Abass Akande Obesere and Adewale Ayuba, and Nollywood actors Toyin Abraham, Eniola Badmus and Bimbo Akintola are among entertainment industry figures named to the All Progressives Congress Lagos State Campaign Council’s Entertainment and Creative Economy Directorate.
The Kadri Obafemi Hamzat Media Centre published the campaign council list on Thursday 17 September 2026.

The council is scheduled to be inaugurated on Friday 18 September at the APC Secretariat on ACME Road, Ikeja.
According to the list, Toke Benson-Awoyinka will serve as director of the directorate. Jide Kosoko is co-director. Eniola Badmus is deputy director. Akeem Alimi, known as Ajala Jalingo, is secretary. Dare Olateju is assistant secretary.
Other members from the Yoruba film industry include Adebayo Salami, known as Oga Bello, Saheed Balogun, Bukky Wright, Fathia Balogun, Yinka Quadri and Tayo Sobola.
Fuji musicians on the list include Pasuma, Obesere, Adewale Ayuba, Sulaimon Alao Adekunle, known as Malaika, Akorede Babatunde Okunola, known as Osupa, and Temitope Adekunle, known as Small Doctor.
The directorate is one of several units under the campaign council. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is listed as chairman of the council. Deputy Governor Kadri Obafemi Hamzat is listed as deputy chairman.
The party also released a wider breakdown of the campaign council, including other directorates and designated officials.

No separate statement on the specific duties of the entertainment directorate was included in the Thursday release.
