JMG marks 28 years of innovation and strong growth

JMG Limited marks 28 years of growth and innovation, highlighting achievements in power, engineering, and sustainable infrastructure projects across Nigeria

JMG Limited, Nigeria’s leading integrated electromechanical solutions company, has marked its 28th anniversary, celebrating nearly three decades of innovation, expansion, and industry leadership.

The company, founded in June 1998, has grown from a specialised generator supplier into a diversified engineering and infrastructure solutions provider serving key sectors across Nigeria.

Its operations now span power generation, electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, elevators and escalators, compressed air solutions, and renewable energy technologies designed to support modern industrial needs.

Chief Commercial Officer Rabi Jammal described the milestone as a reflection of resilience, innovation, and long standing trust from customers and partners.

He said the company remains committed to delivering efficient and sustainable technologies that support business growth and national development.

Jammal noted that JMG has evolved significantly over the years, moving from traditional power solutions into a broader role as a provider of integrated engineering systems.

He added that the company will continue investing in innovation to strengthen industrial capacity and improve energy reliability across the country.

A key highlight of JMG’s recent projects includes the deployment of solar hybrid power systems at three NIPCO fuel stations in Gwagwalada, Lekki, and Mpape.

The installations combine solar arrays, lithium battery storage, and smart inverter systems, helping to reduce dependence on diesel while lowering energy costs.

In the healthcare sector, the company delivered a major electrical infrastructure solution for the African Medical Centre of Excellence in Abuja.

The system provides a stable and scalable power backbone designed to support critical medical operations, including surgical theatres and advanced diagnostic equipment.

JMG also contributed to improved accessibility at the J.K. Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History in Lagos through the installation of elevators and escalators tailored to complex architectural requirements.

Beyond its technical projects, the company continues to invest in community development initiatives across Lagos, including support for primary healthcare centres in Ketu and Bariga.

It has also extended outreach programmes to orphanage homes, providing essential supplies and welfare support for vulnerable children.
