The swearing-in ceremony took place on Monday at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, presided over by President Bola Tinubu.
Last week, the Senate confirmed Kekere-Ekun for the position after a thorough screening process on the floor of the upper legislative chamber.
President Tinubu had previously appointed her as the acting CJN following the retirement of her predecessor, Justice Olukoyede Ariwoola.
Kekere-Ekun’s appointment marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s judicial history. She is expected to bring her extensive legal experience and commitment to justice to the role.
