Kris Asimonye Luxury Spree trends online as Bovi’s wife shares a playful Instagram video crediting her husband as a provider during a shopping trip

Kris Asimonye, entrepreneur and wife of Nigerian comedian Bovi Ugboma, has drawn social media attention after sharing a playful video of a luxury shopping outing while praising her husband as a provider.

Kris Asimonye posted the clip on Instagram, showing the mother of three walking into a fashion store and selecting new shoes alongside designer shoe bags during what appeared to be a relaxed shopping spree.

In the caption accompanying the video, Kris Asimonye wrote, “Me on a random Tuesday because my husband is a provider.”

The lighthearted post quickly circulated among followers, with many reacting to the candid moment and the couple’s widely known affectionate dynamic online.

The Kris Asimonye Luxury Spree moment comes shortly after Kris Asimonye reflected publicly on her decision to retain her maiden name after marriage.

According to Kris Asimonye, Bovi Ugboma encouraged the choice years earlier, a suggestion that has since become meaningful as Kris Asimonye continues to build a personal brand under the name.

A week earlier, Kris Asimonye explained that the reasoning behind keeping the name became clearer as professional opportunities expanded.

The couple, who married in 2009, have often shared glimpses of family life with their three children.

In 2024, Bovi Ugboma celebrated the pair’s 16th wedding anniversary with family photographs and humour typical of the comedian’s public persona, joking that the couple sometimes consider having more children whenever boredom strikes.

Just before that anniversary celebration, Bovi Ugboma also marked Kris Asimonye’s birthday with a heartfelt tribute, describing Kris Asimonye as his “biggest win since inception” and the love of his life.

The couple’s marriage has occasionally drawn public fascination, including in 2023 when the pair renewed their vows during a ceremony held on water with mariners serving as officiating ministers.

The unusual setting sparked widespread online discussion and led some fans to jokingly nickname the couple “Mr and Mrs Mariners”.

In a 2024 interview, Bovi Ugboma reflected on marriage, suggesting that lasting relationships often involve a measure of luck alongside commitment.

The comedian added that while no marriage is perfect, enduring partnerships often grow stronger through embracing imperfections.

The latest social media post from Kris Asimonye continues that narrative, offering a glimpse into the couple’s personal life while highlighting a moment that resonated widely with followers.
