FCT Police have arrested a 37-year-old woman, identified as Torkwase Queen Ayakpa, for faking her own kidnap. According to her, she did it to find out how much her sister loves her.
On Wednesday, July 29, Police paraded 24 suspects who have committed various offenses and Ayakpa was one of them.
Ayakpa who connived with a fellow identified as Fidelis Ikule to fake her kidnap told police that her business was no longer booming and wanted to take N20,000 from her sister.
The duo were picked up by police after tracing several calls for ransom from sister at Fidelis’s house in Mashafa Village, Mpape, Abuja, where they were executing their plans.
