Mr Fatai Tijani made the call on Thursday during an inspection visit to the screening centre at the Police College, Ikeja, where he monitored the ongoing exercise and assessed compliance with official recruitment guidelines.

Deadline for the recruitment reminder was issued in a statement signed by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, who confirmed that the Commissioner met with officials from the Police Service Commission, the Federal Character Commission, and the Police Community Relations Committee overseeing the process.

The Commissioner commended the coordination of the exercise, describing the level of organisation and professionalism displayed by the participating agencies as satisfactory and in line with national standards.

He noted that the exercise aligns with directives from the Inspector-General of Police aimed at strengthening transparency, fairness and merit-based recruitment within the Nigeria Police Force.

Mr Tijani urged applicants who are yet to complete their screening to take immediate advantage of the opportunity, stressing that failure to comply within the stipulated timeframe could result in disqualification.

He further reassured members of the public of the Command’s commitment to integrity, accountability and fairness throughout the recruitment process.
