The management of Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, has awarded a member of its staff, Steven Adesemoye, the most outstanding staff.

The award, which was in recognition of the lecturer’s contributions in the overall development of the school, was presented to him over the weekend at the school’s 27th Convocation Dinner and Awards held at the Banquet hall of Airport Hotel.

Adesemoye, who was grateful for the recognition, however, promised not to relent in his efforts at ensuring that the school continues to be at the forefront in leadership role in the educational sector in the country.

Steven, who currently lectures at the department of Mass Communication and Assistant Dean, Students Affairs, joined the the polytechnic in 2002 as Higher Executive Officer, Public Relations Unit.

Owing to his dedication, Adesemoye was made acting PRO of the school between 2005 and 2007.

He moved fully into classroom in 2017.
