As Nigerians continue to complain over the Guaranty Trust Bank’s new upgrade of its mobile app, GTWorld, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has added his voice.
Hundeyin expressed his concerns over the safety of his money with GTBank account since no one seems to have successfully accessed their accounts since the upgrade.
An account owner, Abraham Any, while giving a thumbs down, accused the bank of shutting everyone out.
“GTCO upgraded their app, shut everyone out of the new version 🤷, are we to beg you to give us access to our money? #Gtworld #Upgrade👎🏼,” he wrote.
The policeman retweeted Anu’s tweet, expressing deep concerns for his money.
“I’m yet to see just one person who has successfully logged into the new app.
“Can I just revert to the old one?🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻” Hundeyin wrote.
GTBank Automated Payment System (GAPS) is an internet banking platform for corporate clients that gives customers 24/7 real-time access to their accounts.
But it seems the new upgrade is working contrary to this.
