An Akure Magistrate Court on Wednesday July 29, remanded a 47-year-old man identified as Olabode Oluwaseun in police custody for beating his pregnant wife, Blessing to death.
A police prosecutor who testified in court said the incident occurred on April 3 in Akure, the state capital. He further revealed that a blow to the woman’s abdomen silenced her and her unborn baby.
Magistrate N. T Aladejana who presided over the case, remanded the Oluwaseun in police custody before adjourning the case till September 8.
