Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, is on the verge of finishing his multi-million naira shopping complex in Lagos’ affluent neighborhood.

When we visited the shopping complex off Admiralty Way in Lekki Phase 1 last Saturday, it was in the last stages of construction and drew a lot of interest from the locals.

Although unable to obtain information on the cost of renting a space in the massive commercial complex, sources told us that spaces are rented out per square meter.

Businessmen and women are reportedly in a rush to rent a space in the complex, which is located in a prime business area.

“People have been rushing to rent places even before construction was completed because the mall’s location is ideal for doing business,” a source said.

Another insider told our correspondent, “Oga (Rudeboy) comes here every day and works closely with the building contractor to ensure there are no compromises in the quality of work and materials utilized for the project.”

Paul Okoye, a former member of the P-square group, which was disbanded years ago due to a family feud. Since their debut as a group in 2003, Rudeboy and his twin brother Peter Okoye (Mr. P) have created a string of successful tracks.

Rudeboy has had a string of hit singles since launching his solo career, and his album (Rudykillus) is set to be published soon.

Crashed marriage:

Rudeboy married Anita Isama, his university girlfriend, in 2014, and the couple has three gorgeous children, Andre, Nadia, and Nathan.

Rumors of his marital problems have been circulating for years and have recently resurfaced, implying that Anita has moved out of the house with the kids to an unknown place.

According to the blogger who broke the news, Anita accused her husband of frequently assaulting her, forcing her to elope with her children. In an exclusive inquiry, discovered that the claim may not be true, as some insiders told us that the singer and his elder brother Jude Okoye both transferred their wife and children to America.

Rudeboy and his wife Anita, in an interview with Punch Newspapers, responded to the news of their marital disintegration by dispelling the myth and going on to share their love story.

“We met at the University of Abuja. I was in my final year, and she was a first-year student. I had a crush on a girl I was supposed to meet for the first time. When I contacted her, she said she was visiting a friend and invited me over. When I arrived, I met Anita, who was also visiting, and I was able to obtain her phone number. From that point forward, everything changed.” Rudeboy gushed.

Anita, on the other hand, informed anyone who would listen in 2016 that she is married to her best friend, whom she has known since she was 16. “I’ve known Paul since I was 16 years old, and we started dating when I was 18 years old. My best buddy and I are married, and I know him much better than he knows himself, and vice versa. Our marriage is so much joy, and our son is a huge blessing.”

Meanwhile with his new venture, Rudeboy has now joined the league of entertainers like 2Face, J. Martins and others who are big players in the real estate sector.
