As Ondo gubernatorial candidate Engr. Funmi Ayinke launched her campaign ahead of the APC governorship primary, and thousands of fans turned out in Akure on Thursday morning in an incredible display of solidarity.

With the slogan “Hope for All,” Adekojo’s acceptance has been resounding, bringing in large groups of people of all ages, party supporters, and regular people who braved the mid-morning sun to walk along her campaign trail through Akure’s charming streets.

Since announcing her decision to run for governor earlier in January, Funmi Ayinke—who is lovingly referred to as such by her loyal fans, admirers, and followers—has become a strong contender.

Funmi Ayinke is a young, brilliant technocrat, businesswoman, industrialist, and philanthropist who has devoted her life to bettering the lives of others, especially widows, young people, women, and those from less affluent backgrounds.

Her wide-ranging contributions include funding STEM education, initiatives empowering young people, thousands of primary through university scholarships, assistance for company starts, and general well-being programs that benefit not only her constituents but also Nigerians throughout the country.

The overwhelming support for Engineer Funmi Ayinke is indicative of the people’s enduring faith in her abilities to guide and bring about constructive change. APC youth Olagoke said, “For us, it’s Funmi Ayinke or nothing. Despite not even knowing us, she has put her money into us. Politicians who solely want to embezzle our money are something we are sick of. She is a hard worker who genuinely cares about her community, and we have every confidence that she will succeed. She will get the party ticket, I’m sure of it. The outdated methods are not sustainable.

Engineer Funmi Ayinke is, in fact, a symbol of optimism and promise for the people of Ondo State, as seen by the enormous amount of support that her campaign rally garnered. It is clear from the people’s passionate support for her that they see her as the ray of hope and development that Ondo State sorely needs.
