A math teacher identified as Lateef Olaniran from Ebenezer Grammar School in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, has been apprehended and accused of raping two students within a span of 24 hours.

The distressing events unfolded when a young lady reported to Ogun State authorities that she had fallen victim to a heinous act of rape by the teacher.
In response to her call for justice, authorities promptly initiated an investigation. However, upon their arrival at the scene, it was discovered that the alleged perpetrator had absconded, evading arrest.
In a shocking turn of events, the authorities tracked down Olaniran to his residence, only to find him in the company of another young lady who had also fallen prey to an alleged rape.
The Ogun State authorities are now engaged in a thorough investigation to ensure that justice is served for the victims and that appropriate legal actions are taken against the accused teacher.
A video had surfaced where the alleged criminal was being interrogated by the officials of the Ogun state government.
“I’ve been lonely for 5years since my divorce,” Olaniran was heard saying during interrogation.
