Under the agreement, Schneider Electric becomes the Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing, covering the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren F1 Academy and the McLaren United Autosports World Endurance Championship Hypercar programme.

Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Racing Zak Brown said the collaboration would merge Schneider Electric’s energy technology expertise with McLaren’s relentless pursuit of performance, creating opportunities to make racing operations smarter and more efficient.

Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric Olivier Blum said motorsport provides one of the most demanding environments to demonstrate the value of advanced energy and digital technologies.

Olivier Blum said McLaren Racing consistently pushes systems to their limits, making performance, reliability and efficiency critical, and noted that Schneider Electric would provide the energy intelligence required to support peak performance across all racing platforms.

The McLaren Racing energy partnership builds on a supplier relationship spanning more than two decades, during which both organisations have collaborated on complex energy challenges where reliability and continuous performance are non-negotiable.

As part of the partnership, the two companies will deploy resilient energy systems at race circuits worldwide and at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, United Kingdom, focusing on reducing energy consumption, enabling electrification and strengthening operational resilience.
