The project marks her first foray into authorship and reflects what she described as a purpose-driven initiative to support young people during a pivotal stage of development.

Mercy Johnson Okojie said the Mercy Johnson Puberty Book was written to help children understand bodily changes “with clarity and confidence,” offering age-appropriate explanations and reassurance.

The actress shared the announcement on Instagram after a noticeable absence from social media in recent months.

Mercy Johnson Okojie explained that the period away from public view was dedicated to personal growth and professional expansion.

The actress wrote that she had been “building, learning, and embracing new assignments,” describing the writing process as heartfelt and deeply intentional.

Beyond her literary debut, Mercy Johnson Okojie revealed that she is studying Functional Medicine at the Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine.

The actress characterised the academic pursuit as intense but fulfilling, adding that her interest in holistic health is rooted in long-term impact rather than academic curiosity alone.

In addition, Mercy Johnson Okojie disclosed that she has signed on as an ambassador for a new brand, with further details expected soon.

The actress also reflected on her recent appointment as Special Adviser on Public Engagement and Advocacy to Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State, describing the role as a serious commitment to service and meaningful change.

Mercy Johnson Okojie acknowledged the demands of balancing film work, public service, study, and family life.

The actress described the current season as stretching yet refining, expressing optimism about a chapter centred on growth, impact, and showing up fully.
