Nigeria’s representative, Oma Osele, has won the Miss Continental World 2026 crown at the international pageant held in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
Osele emerged winner at the competition’s grand finale, held on October 9, 2026, beating contestants from other countries to claim the title. India’s Shreeya Panda finished as first runner-up.
Beyond winning the overall crown, Osele received additional recognition during the competition, including the Queen of Africa title and the Best National Attire award. The Queen of Africa honour recognises the highest-placing African contestant, while the national attire category celebrates cultural presentation.
The victory followed another achievement in September, when Osele won the World Premiere Award after topping a global fan vote conducted through Eventista’s 1Vote platform. She finished ahead of contestants from India and Thailand in that category.
Osele’s performance has brought further attention to Nigeria’s participation in international beauty pageants, with her main title and additional honours recognising her showing across several competition categories.
Her win adds to Nigeria’s representation on the global pageant stage and places her among the standout contestants at this year’s Miss Continental World competition.
