Mo Abudu Baba Segi film cast expands with top Nollywood stars ahead of the film’s December premiere
Renowned filmmaker and media entrepreneur Mo Abudu has unveiled an expanded cast for the forthcoming film adaptation of The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives, signalling a bold new phase in the production of the highly anticipated project.
The announcement, made via Instagram, introduced a fresh group of actors set to join the already star-studded ensemble bringing the acclaimed story to life. Among the newly revealed cast members are Faithia Williams, Damilola Adegbite, Nancy Isime, Uzor Arukwe and Mike Ezuronye.

Also joining the production are Blessing Jessica Obasi, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Maleek Sanni and Mallu Marik, each expected to bring distinct energy and depth to the unfolding drama.
In her statement, Abudu described the growing ensemble as a powerful collection of talent assembled to honour the legacy of the original work while introducing it to a new generation of viewers. The production is positioned as a major Christmas release, adding to anticipation within the industry.
The film, adapted from the celebrated novel by Lola Shoneyin, explores the complex dynamics of a polygamous household, examining rivalry, secrecy and the subtle power struggles among co-wives.
Its themes of family tension and social expectation have made it one of the most compelling modern Nigerian literary works.
Earlier announced cast members include Odunlade Adekola in the titular role, alongside Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Bimbo Ademoye and Bisola Aiyeola.
