The SuperSport Select Channel has been renamed SuperSport Africa, while a new channel, SuperSport Action, has been launched.

The newly introduced SuperSport Action channel offers a broader range of sports content, including UFC matches, local boxing, and extra UEFA Champions League games.

On the GOtv platform, the changes are as follows:

–  On GOtv Jinja and GOtv Jolli packages, SuperSport Africa will replace Select 2 (Channel 64).

–  On the GOtv Max package, SuperSport Africa and SuperSport Africa 2 will replace Select 1 and Select 2 (Channels 63 and 64).

–  SuperSport Action will replace Select 3 (Channel 69) on the GOtv Supa and SupaPlus bouquets.

Speaking about the rebranding, Tope Oshunkeye, Executive Head of Marketing at MultiChoice West Africa, said the channel revamp is part of their continuous effort to provide more engaging sports content to African audiences.

He highlighted that the revamped channels will offer a diverse range of sports action, including live UFC events and comprehensive match analysis.

Oshunkeye reiterated MultiChoice’s commitment to delivering premium sports action and exploring new ways to offer subscribers more value and choices.

He encouraged customers to reconnect, upgrade, or subscribe through the MyGOtv App or by dialling *288#, and to use the GOtv Stream app for on-the-go sports viewing.
