King Sunny Ade’s daughter, Damilola Adeniyi, alleges that the music icon has been kidnapped by his manager and family members
[dropcap]D[/dropcap]amilola Adeniyi, daughter of legendary Nigerian musician King Sunny Ade, has alleged that her father has been kidnapped.

She made the claims through a series of Instagram posts over the past two days, accusing his manager, Dayo, of masterminding the alleged abduction.
Damilola claimed that King Sunny Ade is being forced to work under distress and no longer has control over his finances.
In one of her posts, she stated, “King Sunny Ade has been kidnapped, the manager (Dayo) is the culprit, along with his mother, brothers (Demola, Kenny) and his driver, Ade.”
She further accused the manager and others of stealing from the veteran musician and manipulating his financial affairs.
“I want Dayo (manager) apprehended. I want him to provide all the money they have been stealing from him. He has a UK Visa thinking he can run away,” she wrote, tagging several authorities to intervene.
Damilola also revealed that King Sunny Ade has been made to owe hotels where he is lodged, suggesting that he is no longer in charge of his own expenses.
“They are even making my dad owe hotels that they are taking him to, so that means he is not in charge of his finance,” she added.

As of now, no official statement has been made by King Sunny Ade’s camp or the accused manager regarding the allegations.
