Nigerian superstar, Ibrahim Balogun widely known as Wizkid has shared an emotional tribute for his mother, Morayo Balogun, on her posthumous birthday, July 4th, 2024.
Posting on his X page, Wizkid opened up about his overwhelming emotions as he commemorates his mother’s birthday in her absence.

Wizkid shared his deep sense of loss, mentioning that he misses his mother every day and that the void left by her passing in 2023 remains unfilled.
He expressed how his life feels empty without her and hoped that she continues to watch over him and his family.
The Grammy award-winning singer revealed his heartache, emphasizing that her smile, laughter, hugs, and kisses are memories he will always cherish. He stated that nothing will ever be the same for him again.
