NACLFON South-West Summit in Lagos will unite Christian leaders for ethical political reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda

The National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON) is set to host its South-West Summit at the Nigeria Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, bringing together prominent Christian leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to promote faith-based political reform.

Scheduled under the theme “Divine Mandate for Political Reformation of Renewed Hope Agenda,” the summit will focus on integrating ethical principles of biblical stewardship into governance, supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s national Renewed Hope Agenda.

His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Aduragbemi Sanwo-Olu, Executive Governor of Lagos State, will attend as the Special Guest of Honour, highlighting the summit’s significance within both political and ecclesiastical circles.

Prof. Adebayo Adeniji JP, South-West Coordinator for NACLFON, described the gathering as “a clarion call” for Nigerian leaders to recognise political authority as a trust from God.

He emphasised that the summit will explore how spiritual guidance can drive ethical, transparent, and accountable governance.

Dr. Olatunji Oluwadamilare, Host State Coordinator for Lagos, added that the event is a historic platform for Christian voices to actively shape public policy and influence societal progress.

“The South-West remains a vital bastion of progressive politics,” he said, “and this summit ensures faith-based leadership contributes meaningfully to national development.”

The high-level forum will also facilitate engagement between Christian leaders, political officeholders, technocrats, and civil society actors, aiming to align moral stewardship with practical policy implementation.

Discussions will centre on responsible political participation, transparent governance, and the role of the Church as a moral compass in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

Established to foster synergy between faith and governance, NACLFON has been instrumental in mobilising Christian leaders within the All Progressives Congress for principled participation in nation-building.

The organisation continues to champion policies that promote integrity, social justice, and religious freedom.
