[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced a significant operational success, with its air component under Operation HADIN KAI effectively destroying a Boko Haram terrorists’ warehouse in Borno State.

The facility, located in the Southern Tumbuns, was reportedly used for storage and coordination by the insurgent group.
The precision bombardment, carried out on 5th and 6th June 2025, resulted in the elimination of scores of terrorists and successfully disrupted planned attacks across the state, which were intended to mar the recent Eid celebrations.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, disclosed the details of the successful operation.
“In a series of precision airstrikes conducted on 5 and 6 June 2025, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), under Operation HADIN KAI, decimated key Boko Haram hideouts at Tumbumma Baba and Chiralia in the Southern Tumbuns, Borno State,” he stated.
“Acting on credible intelligence, NAF aircraft targeted terrorist structures reportedly used for storage and coordination, delivering direct hits and crippling planned attacks aimed at disrupting Eid celebrations.

Battle Damage Assessments confirmed the neutralisation of several terrorists and the destruction of key logistics structures.
