Dr. Adelusi’s career spans his time as the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of BrandEye/Mediaplus and his tenure as the immediate past President of the Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN).

During his two-term presidency at MIPAN, he is credited with guiding the association through a period of significant innovation and unity.

A key achievement during his leadership was his work to address the long-standing issue of audience measurement in Nigeria, both as MIPAN President and as a member of the taskforce panel.

As Chairman of the Heads of Advertising Sectoral Groups (HASG), Dr. Adelusi emphasised unity and cross-sectoral collaboration within the industry.

He consistently encourages the industry to embrace technology, invest in digital skills, and prioritise research in marketing strategies. He views digital platforms as essential tools for accountability, insight, and performance evaluation.

Dr. Adelusi is also recognised for his support and advocacy for the Advertising Industry Standard of Practice (AISOP), a framework designed to address issues related to payment terms and value exchange, ultimately benefiting both agencies and clients.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Adelusi is a mentor, motivator, and a source of stability. His calm demeanour, constant smile, and fairness have made him both approachable and admirable.

He has often reminded agencies that influence should be earned through integrity, insightful counsel, and the courage to challenge the status quo.

He has encouraged agencies to refine their influencer marketing metrics and pursue long-term brand partnerships.
