Ogun State teacher Ayedun Olubusayo Oluwakemi has expressed deep gratitude after winning recognition as one of the best teachers in the primary category.
She emerged in second position for Best Teacher in the Primary Category in Ogun State and first position in Abeokuta North.
In a statement shared on social media, Ayedun described the awards as a reward for hard work, dedication and perseverance.
She said the journey had been tough and demanding but ultimately worthwhile.
The teacher dedicated the recognition to her alma mater and several individuals who supported her projects and career growth.
She particularly thanked Lekuti Morounsola for her role in the school library project and for her continued support.
She also appreciated Olatunbosun Ajibola for stepping in to assist with the Sick Bay Project, describing the intervention as a source of strength.
Ayedun further thanked an individual known online as White Lion for encouraging her to explore LinkedIn, a move she said opened new platforms for her advocacy work.
She dedicated the awards to members of Club 940 Set for their consistent encouragement through messages, calls, prayers and donations.
“This recognition is therefore not mine alone. It belongs to everyone who believed, encouraged, supported, pushed, prayed, and contributed in one way or another,” she said.
Ayedun, who describes herself as a teacher, education advocate and change maker, said the journey, the work and the impact would continue.
