Ondo APC youths Tinubu re-election drive gains momentum as group targets over one million votes ahead of 2027 election

Youths of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, under the platform of the Ondo Youth Alliance for Tinubu, on Sunday in Akure declared support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, unveiling plans to mobilise over one million votes.

The Director-General of the group, Thalis Apalowo, said the initiative reflects growing confidence among young people in the President’s leadership, marking a significant Ondo APC youths Tinubu re-election mobilisation effort.

Apalowo stated that the group’s mission includes educating youths on government policies, bridging the gap between leadership and citizens, and encouraging civic participation across the state’s 18 local government areas.

“Our mission is to educate young people about government policies and opportunities and to promote unity and democratic responsibility,” he said, adding that the youth must act as ambassadors of development and good governance.

The group attributed its support to what it described as the President’s bold reforms and commitment to economic transformation, noting that such policies are creating new opportunities for young Nigerians.

Apalowo highlighted interventions in education and access to credit, citing programmes designed to expand opportunities for students and entrepreneurs.

He said initiatives such as education loans and youth-focused financing schemes are helping to unlock potential and reduce barriers.

He further described the administration as youth-friendly, emphasising its focus on inclusion and empowerment, particularly in sectors such as technology and the creative economy.

The endorsement also carried a symbolic note, with the group commending the appointment of Ondo indigenes into key federal positions, including Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and Minister of Youth Development Ayodele Olawande.

Apalowo said the mobilisation would extend to grassroots communities, with coordinated efforts aimed at strengthening support ahead of the next presidential election.

“We are working towards securing more than one million votes for the President in this state,” he said, describing the plan as both ambitious and achievable.
