Renowned Nigerian music icon Onyeka Onwenu has passed away.
The beloved artist reportedly collapsed during the birthday celebration of Mrs. Stella Okoli, held in Lagos.

The incident occurred shortly after Onwenu delivered a performance at the event.
Eyewitnesses at the party confirmed the sad news, stating that Onyeka Onwenu was immediately rushed to the Reddington Hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, she was unable to be revived.
An attendee at the party shared, “It is very sad. Onyeka Onwenu just performed at the birthday of Mrs. Stella Okoli today, and after performing, she slumped. She was taken to Reddington Hospital, and she couldn’t make it.”
Onyeka Onwenu was a celebrated figure in the Nigerian music and entertainment industry, known for her soulful voice and impactful songs.
