In his anniversary message, Senator Husain described Osun as a land “blessed beyond measure,” with rich soil, noble heritage, and resilient people.
From the hills of Ijesaland to the cultural legacy of Ile-Ife, and from Ode-Omu’s fertile plains to Osogbo’s industrious spirit, he said Osun holds immense potential waiting to be fully harnessed.
However, he noted that challenges have slowed progress and weighed heavily on the dreams of the founding fathers.
According to him, the people of Osun continue to feel the burden of untapped opportunities while yearning for meaningful change.
To address these concerns, Husain introduced the Irọrun De Agenda under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He described it as an all-inclusive and reformative roadmap to restore ease, dignity, and prosperity to every home in Osun.
The agenda focuses on transparency, accountability, inclusiveness, youth empowerment, agricultural revival, commerce, and the restoration of public trust in government.
“Irọrun De is not just a mission to govern but to transform,” he said. “It is about building an Osun where the child in Iwo dreams without fear, where the farmer in Ife North reaps value from his sweat, and where the trader in Ifelodun prospers.”
The senator emphasized that the 34th anniversary should serve as a moment of collective recommitment to development, urging citizens to support a shared vision for Osun’s future.

“With God’s guidance, your support, and our determination, Osun shall rise again not as a tale of missed opportunities, but as a shining model of visionary, progressive leadership,” Husain affirmed.
