OGD mourns the passing of Dr Isiaq Salako’s mother, Alhaja Fadilat Salako, buried in Ogun State according to Islamic rites
[dropcap]E[/dropcap]ngr. Otunba Gbenga Daniel, senator representing Ogun East, has expressed his condolences to the Minister of State for Health, Dr Isiaq Kunle Salako, following the passing of his mother, Alhaja Fadilat Anike Salako.
The late matriarch passed away on the evening of 5 March 2025 at the age of 95.
In a statement released by the family, Alhaja Salako was laid to rest in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government, Ogun State, in accordance with Islamic rites.
Her passing marks the end of a life dedicated to faith, family, and community service.
Senator Daniel described the loss as a painful moment for Dr Salako and his family, urging them to take solace in the legacy of kindness and integrity she left behind.
The former governor of Ogun State prayed for Allah’s mercy on her soul and strength for the bereaved family.
