In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday, Oyedepo emphasized that responsibility is the price of every great destiny. He stated: “Nobody is a failure until he or she looks for whom to blame for it.”
Oyedepo warned that those who avoid responsibility early in life risk becoming liabilities later. He encouraged the youth to embrace accountability, integrity, and self-discipline as lifelong virtues.
“If you fail or succeed in life, it is your choice. There is no star without a scar, and the scar of every star is sacrifice. When you leave your life to chance, you do not have a chance,” he said.
The cleric further stressed that integrity is a key measure of character, noting that nothing devalues a person more than a lack of honesty and principle.
