[dropcap]P[/dropcap]a Amos Ojekunle Oliyide, who passed away peacefully on 29th July 2024 at the age of 84, has been laid to rest in a grand ceremony.

The family organised a unique two-in-one tribute to honour the late patriarch alongside a remembrance service for Mrs Florence Adebola Oliyide (née Tonade), Steve’s mother, who passed away on 20th November 1978.

The event began with a wake-keep on Thursday, 28th November 2024, at the family home at No. 14, Olaboopo Daramola Close, Sango Ota, Ogun State.

The following day, a funeral outing and thanksgiving service were held on Friday, 29th November 2024, at St. Stephen’s African Church, Abule Tuntun, Iroko Town, Lagos.

Friends, family, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the life of Pa Oliyide and honour the enduring legacy of Mrs Florence Oliyide.

The deceased were the parents of the media aide to Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel, representing Ogun East District, Steve Oliyide.
